Safety option module - Type: MiS210
82400000021100
The MiS210 Safety module provides motion safety functionality for Unidrive M600, M700, M701, and M702 controllers according to the requirements of IEC 61800-5-2:
• Wired safety - 4 safe inputs, 2 safe outputs
• Network safety - Safety over EtherCAT (FSoE) and CIP-Safety over EtherNet/IP
• 2 encoder ports supporting multiple protocols
• Snooping of the drive encoder (EnDat only) - including support for SafeEndat (up to SIL3 achievable with a single encoder)
• Safe Stop 1 (SS1)
• Safe Stop 2 (SS2)
• Safely Limited Speed (SLS)
• Safe Operating Stop (SOS)
• Safe Direction (SDI)
• Safe Speed Monitor (SSM)
• Safe Emergency Stop (SES)
• Safely Limited Position (SLP)
• Safely Limited Acceleration (SLA)
• Safe Brake Control (SBC)
• Two-Hand Control
The function of the MiS210 Safety module is to monitor the input signals and activate the outputs according to the MSF algorithms. Input and output signals can be connected directly to the module or via a safe network.
The MSF algorithms can be selected and configured by the user according to the application requirements and up to Pl=e according to ISO 13849-1 and/or SIL 3 according to IEC 61508 and IEC 62061.
